About me

I have over 20 years of experience and success in the creation of high quality artwork designed to withstand the rigours of the public space. Works have been in 3 dimensions, as well as ground and wall based relief. Over the years I have made new works for town centres, community gardens, public recreation grounds, local authority buildings, housing association developments as well as libraries, hospitals and health centres.

Swans nearing completion

Finally today I feel I've turned a corner with these. Up until now I've felt as though I was struggling with them. I'm not sure why, perhaps it's just that they're the last pieces in a long project. This has been a solid 6 months, without a break... at last I can see light at the end of the tunnel!! I hope to complete these by Tuesday next week and deliver them to the foundry for casting. Once they are out of the studio I will be able to breath again.

  1. Sweet work! I'm not very good, but trying to do a bust of my dad who passed away last December. Getting the whole shape thing exactly right from big to small in 3d is tough for me. Seems like the eyes play tricks, a bit of asymmetry, etc.
